David Haas
was born and raised in
Marietta
,
Ohio
, one brother among six sisters. He and his wife Leslie, have one daughter, Reagan.
David's hobbies include restoration and modification of sports cars, instructing at a high performance driving school, boating, water skiing, scuba diving, on road and off-road bicycling, target shooting, gardening, snow skiing and hiking.
Education
- Attended St. Mary’s Elementary from 1970 through 1978
- Attended Marietta city Schools from 1978 through 1982
- Attended The Ohio State University 1982 through 1986, graduated from the Fischer School of Business with a B.S. degree in operations management.
Career
David has worked in the heating, air conditioning, ventilating and refrigeration business since 1979.
- Worked as an installer and service technician from 1979 through 1986.
- Attended a six-week Carrier HVAC engineering school in the winter of 1987.
- Purchased his father’s shares of Morrison Inc. in 1990
- Business responsibilities include industrial heating, air conditioning and process refrigeration engineering, design, project management and supervision.
- Supervision of business operation functions including record keeping, taxes, legal issues, safety and management information system.
Community Service
David has been an active Rotarian since 1990, and was a charter member of Marietta Morning Rotary Club.
