The 2008 A Taste of the World international dinner was held on March 29. We had a fantastic lineup of cuisines from: Sri Lanka, Ghana, Germany, France, Bulgaria, Austria, India, Ireland, Russia, Uzbekistan, Morocco, Panama, Trinidad & Tobago, China, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Lebanon, and Mexico. More than 250 people attended the event.
The food was fantastic, the live Brazilian music was terrific, and the cash bar featuring international beers and wines was a big hit.
The proceeds from the event will be used to fund our Club's literacy projects, including the Summer Reading Camp and our Third Grade Dictionary Project.
We thank all of our sponsors, chefs, and Rotarians for their help in making this event a success.
